The Somerville Food Coalition is a key advisory group for the Office of Food Access and Healthy Communities (OFAHC)’s 2025 Community Food Assessment.
This assessment builds on the 2018 Food System Assessment and Action Plan. The assessment will provide an overview of the local food system with a focus on affordable food access. The goal is to inform future planning, programming, policies, and funding through a report and updated Food Action Plan.
Staff from OFAHC are leading the assessment with advice from community representatives like the Food Coalition.
