Food Pantries & Community Fridges

Somerville has many food pantries where you can get food for free!  Some pantries have requirements like seeing proof of Somerville residency, seeing an ID, or limiting your visits to once per month. Our Food Pantry Flyer has the most up-to-date info on each pantry, so check the schedule or call the pantry directly before you go.

Somerville also has community fridges, stocked by community members. Anyone who needs food can take food from a community fridge.
